Thessaloniki is a city with a history that spans for more than 2300 years. It was created in 315 BC by King of Macedon Cassander who, in order to honour his wife, Thessaloniki – a half sister of Alexander the Great, he gave her name to this new city. Ever since then, Thessaloniki has been standing right here: a long continous and multilayered history waiting for you to discover.

On this Thessaloniki City Tour we are going to unralvel this history. With a modern air-conditioned car or minivan (depending on the number of guests) we are going to visit the most important sights and monuments of this place: byzantine churches, Ottoman towers, roman forums, ancient ruins while trying to understand the complexities that make up a city that is older than most.
