Thessaloniki is a city with a history of more than 2300 years. It was created by King of Macedon Cassander, who in order to honour his wife, he gave her name to this new city. Ever since then, Thessaloniki has been standing right here with a long, continous and multilayered history.

On this Thessaloniki Walking Tour we are going to unralvel this history. With our own two feet we are going to visit the most important sights and monuments of this place, while trying to understand the complexities that make up a city that is older than most.

We will visit the markets and the roman ruins, Ottoman towers and subway stations and, in the end, Thessaloniki will have no more secrets from us!
