Meteora is easily one of the most impressive natural landscapes one can find when visiting Greece. Those rocks, carved by the air and the rain millions of years ago, stand magnificently reminding us of nature’s resilience and beauty.

And on top of these rocks? Centuries old Christian monasteries, built on top of them and making it difficult to distinguish where the rock ends and where the monastery begins.

On this Meteora Tour we are going to visit two of the monasteries (which two depends on the day of visit), learn about their history and understand the art that decorates their interiors. We are going to admire chirstian paintings that are hundreds of years old while at the same time gazing to one of Greece’s most beautiful landscapes.

Of course I am going to take you to a couple of places where you can take the best photos and, before heading home, we are going to enjoy lunch at a local spot in the nearby town of Kalambaka.
